Job description

We are a family run business with a small but friendly team. We have been serving Bodmin and the surrounding area for more than 30 years.

We are looking for a customer focused service advisor/workshop controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for the workshop control to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, throughput, and quality.

You will be required to identify and meet customers’ needs, prioritise the flow and manage the workload in the workshop, ensure parts required are ordered and deal with suppliers. This will also involve managing the day to day running of the garage when the owner is off site or on holiday.

Speaking to people and building a good rapport is essential and great customer care is a high priority. You will be able to communicate professionally at all levels and be comfortable and confident in explaining the benefits of having work recommended by the technician, to keep the customer’s car in prime condition.

Ideally, you should have experience within the motor trade, although it is not a necessity; but a good understanding and knowledge of cars would be highly beneficial. Training can also be given if required.
