Pre alignment inspection
Suspension and steering checks.This is done to make sure the vehicle is suitable to align. Ball joints, bushes, tyres, wheel bearing, springs etc all need to checked and passed fit for alignment.
Next tyre pressures need to be set to the manufacturers specs. This is so often overlooked.
A battery support unit is also hooked up so the vehicle battery voltage does not drop.
Primary alignment readings. With the steering wheel set straight the vehicle steers to the right.
Some vehicles are equipped with extra safety systems that require additional set up. We carry out a vehicle scan to see if there is anything that could be thrown out of calibration by adjusting the wheel alignment.
Checking mechanical and electrical systems agree. The electronics do not match the mechanicals so adjustments are required.
The cause of the customers issue with the car. This is the reason the steering angle sensor is showing inaccurate readings.
Alignment readings now corrected.
As it should be.
